I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a teacher. I loved school and had wonderful teachers whom I admired. It was not until my high school and college years that I realized God was leading me to teach students with special needs. I truly love each and every student that walks through my classroom and look forward to teaching skills that assist them to be successful in life.  There are so a many things that we take for granted and so much to learn. Therefore, I feel my job as a teacher is never complete.

Terry and I have been married 15 years, we have two daughters, Riley 12 and Presley 8. Riley is very outgoing and loves to sing.  Presley is a very thoughtful and loving little girl who has a special interest in horses. As a result, I enjoy every second of being their mom and pray that they will always put God first in everything they do.

We attend Liberty Baptist Church and love our church family. My relationship with Christ is growing more each and every day. Im so blessed to have such a supportitve church and a great place for my family to worship Jesus.

Overall, I am self rewarded through teaching due to thefact that I know I make a difference in my students' lives. To see my students earning wages and living successfully in the community with little or no support, makes me confident that I have reached my Goal in Education.
