Welcome to Franklin County Middle School. My name is Carrie Ertzberger. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Toccoa, GA. I graduated from Stephens County High School in 1992 and obtained my teaching degree from Toccoa Falls College in 1996. In 2005, I received a Masters in Middle Grades Math from Piedmont College.

I began my teaching career at Stephens County Middle School teaching 8th grade Math. Then I took a few years off to stay home with my wonderful children. During that time I ran our farm and took care of 6 chicken houses. In 2006, I went back to teaching at Central Franklin Elementary School where I taught 4th and 5th grade.  In 2008, I graduated from Piedmont College with my masters degree.   In 2009 I came to  FCMS to teach 6th grade.  This is my fifth year teaching 6th grade here at FCMS and I am so happy to be here!!
